How to find us

Paihia is in the heart of the Bay of Islands, around 250km north of Auckland. The majority of visitors to the Bay of Islands arrive by road.

By bus

Northliner runs regular buses to Paihia from Auckland and a variety of locations across the Northland.

By car

From Auckland (via Whangarei and Kawakawa)

• Follow State Highway 11 until you come down onto the Paihia waterfront.
• Drive approx 1 minute, take the second left into School Road (the first left is Kings Road).
• Follow the road for about 600m until you see a large sign for Sublime Apartments on your left.
• Turn left uo the driveway and follow the one-way system at the top of the hill to reach the units.

From the north (via Puketona and past Haruru Falls)

• Follow State Highway 11 to Paihia.
• At the roundabout turn right.
• Follow the road round passed the headland.
• Beyond the headland, take the 3rd road on the right,  School Road.
• Follow the road for about 600m until you see a large sign for Sublime Apartments on your left.
• Turn left uo the driveway and follow the one-way system at the top of the hill to reach the units.
