How to find us

Paihia is in the heart of the Bay of Islands, around 250km north of Auckland.

The majority of visitors to the Bay of Islands arrive by road.

By bus

Northliner runs regular buses to Paihia from Auckland and a variety of locations across the Northland.

By car

From the south (via Kawakawa)

• Follow State Highway 11 to Paihia town centre.
• Turn left into School Road (the first left after Kings Road).
• Follow the road for about 600m until you see a large sign for Sublime Apartments on your left.
• Turn left uo the driveway and follow the one-way system at the top of the hill to reach reception.

From the north (via Puketona and past Haruru Falls)

• Follow State Highway 11 to Paihia.
• At the roundabout turn right.
• Follow the road round passed the headland.
• Beyond the headland, take the 3rd road on the right, turning into School Road.
• Follow the road for about 600m until you see a large sign for Sublime Apartments on your left.
• Turn left uo the driveway and follow the one-way system at the top of the hill to reach reception.
